Contrary to the majority of religions (perhaps all?) rather than believing in a creed, the Creator actually expects us, humans, to use our minds, to criticize and question the religious views of our ancestors. In Quran we see several verses inviting us to think, to consider, to remember, to investigate, to look deeper, in order to understand and comprehend, in order to separate right from wrong, to reject made up claims and to seek only the truth about our temporary existence in this world life.
It is possible to find a reference to using our minds nearly on every single page in Quran; organized religions however do not want their followers to do that because if you start thinking and questioning, one thing that naturally follows is that you start asking difficult questions, and start seeing the flaws and problems in the belief system, and that means danger for the people who make their living simply by repeating some “holy” words and telling people stories.
In addition to using our minds to eliminate the untrue claims and get closer to the truth step by step, the Creator also promises to help personally if we really turn our faces to our Maker, by showing us signs which when we see them we will recognize that they are from the Creator.
