Quite a deep question and almost impossible to answer…
We may have heard a reproach that goes like this: “Did I ask to be created!”.
Complete free will and a soul with an eternal existence are the two main features that make humans special. Surely, someone living a life with difficulties may not feel much excitement from existing, but would it be possible to find anyone who would truly wish to have never been given life, or would anyone truly wish to disappear forever, never to exist again, especially if everything could actually be as nice as we would want it to be?
How about this: if you could go back in time before your birth, and if you were given the right to decide, would you choose to be created as another type of living being without complete free will, or would you choose to be human again?
When we think deeply about these things, it may feel like either we did choose to be created, indeed as a human, or that the blessing given to us is so amazing that no conscious being can ever refuse…
