Perfect Justice Will Be Completed In Afterlife

Perhaps the most common atheistic argument goes like this: “If God actually exists, but doesn’t prevent the suffering, or poverty, or wars, then such God is not powerful or merciful enough, therefore why should we attempt to find out if there really is such God or not anyway..” This is a logical observation under the assumption that God tried to create the most perfect, just and painless life conditions possible, and managed this much, or basically did not care that much.

In addition, those who do good do not always get good rewards here, while those who do evil usually walk away with the sadness they cause on others, or if they get caught by our man-made justice system, there are such crimes that we can never penalize at the amount that the actions truly deserve.

In Quran we see that God has a purpose in creating us in these specific conditions which is related to the free will that It wanted to give, but we also see that God will judge equally and mercifully up to the smallest thing possible, where the various life stories of each of us will determine the parameters of our judgement. The day of justice will not be a time to check if you repeated some religious dogma like a parrot or not, but a time to bring about the perfect justice and equality that those who criticize God for not maintaining it in the world life had been asking for.

God is not a police trying to control and punish our every little mistake, but a just and a merciful being, wishing us to be and to do good, multiplying the reward for our good actions while intending to forgive and ignore our mistakes when we fail, at the same time never holding us responsible for what we can not “carry”…
